HONOR has made its recent flagship, the Magic8 Pro, a more versatile device for users who need their smartphones for constant creation, multitasking, and long working days rather than a camera-centric one.
The discussions about the recent smartphones have been mainly around night photography, but HONOR claims the Magic8 Pro is a versatile phone that performs well in all situations, both indoors and outdoors, for cityscapes and casual shooting, or even for professional shootings and low-light vlogging. The manufacturer assures that the phone’s imaging system is founded on equilibrium, thus providing no lost in quality output irrespective of lighting or case, rather than being performed up to standard in just one condition.
The Magic8 Pro went beyond imaging to focus on endurance and daily usability. This device is powered by a 7,100mAh silicon-carbon battery, making it one of the best in the flagship marketplace concerning battery life. HONOR claims that the battery is designed to enable the user to fully utilize the phone all day without requiring monitorings or making any changes in their usage.
Charging speeds are another aspect that the company deliberately focused on. The phone allows for 100W wired and 80W wireless charging, which means the users will quickly regain several hours of usability even with a short charging period. The company is claiming that this configuration is for users with unpredictable timelines who need a fast boost in their battery life between the tasks.
The Magic8 Pro software experience is largely around artificial intelligence. A separate AI button is on the device that gives quick access to the most used tools like the camera, suggestions based on the screen, settings control, and Google Lens.
HONOR has made a move towards making everyday phone interactions easier with new features. One of them, Magic Color, is the one-tap image refinement that provides quick visual adjustments. AI Search permits people to use conversational prompts instead of having to view the content of files, photos, messages, and screenshots one by one.
The AI Settings Agent is another feature that fully interacts with users through either voice or text communications, directly making the changes or leading users to the right settings menu. Moreover, the device has been linked to Google Gemini, which allows the phone to facilitate writing, planning, research, and organization.
HONOR claims that the AI tools, when used together, will create a smooth user experience, as they would be operating in the background and quietly adapting to the user’s intent.
The company regards the Magic8 Pro as an all-around device instead of a phone with one major feature. Performance, battery life, AI capabilities, and design are aimed at working in unison to support the new usage patterns, especially for creators and professionals who are constantly on the move and using their phones.
In the UAE, there are two versions of the HONOR Magic8 Pro. The 12GB RAM model with 512GB storage comes at AED 3,999 and is available in three colors: Sunrise Gold, Sky Cyan, and Black. The 16GB RAM model with 1TB storage that is priced at AED 4,699 is available in Sunrise Gold and Black only.
The phone can be pre-ordered through the HONOR Online Store and major retail partners, which include Sharaf DG, EMax, Ecity, Jumbo, Virgin Megastore, Amazon, Carrefour, e&, Eros, Noon, and Lulu.
